1001 is a book of connections, an ourbourus, in which the stories we tell are the stories we see imagined large;  because they become, we become, and they become again, under our imagining.  Given that the book is full of kidnapped text, in the spirit of fair play and fair uwse, In honor of fair use and the fact that nothing's new under the sun, we gave some of our favorite artists a chapter of the book and the invitation to write back.
